Story Behind the Name
Circe is a powerful goddess from greek mythology who had to do it all herself, and thus became the symbol of knowledge, feminine power, and potions. Being a young woman trying to find her way in the world I thought who better to name this company after than this powerful symbol. My hope is to inspire others to follow their passion and work towards their goals no matter how far out of reach they seem. Anything is possible.
Message From Your Founder
Hello!
Two years ago I discovered face oils through a trusted friend. Though I was skeptical of using “oil” on my already oily skin, I’m here to say that face oils have changed the way my skin looks while also becoming one of the best parts of my day. The final step of an evening skincare routine or the hydrating layer that receives makeup in the morning, from that first scent to the glow it leaves behind, face oils are an integral part of my skin care.
On the face-oil-journey, of which I’ve tried many, none checked all the boxes I was looking for: accessible (cost), the right light scent (the scent is such a lovely part but I don’t want it to be overwhelming), the way the oil absorbs (how long did it take?), and how’d it leave my skin feeling. What to do when you can’t find what you’re looking for? Make your own!
I’ve been inspired to create my own oils and to share them with others who are on the face oil journey. Perhaps you’ve encountered similar frustrations with other oils or they’re simply too expensive to even try once. Creating 4 varieties of oil blends means that there’s an option for everyone - at every age and stage of skincare. My hope for this brand is that pricing is accessible so that each person can have a bottle of this liquid gold no matter their skin type or budget.
